Ingredients:1/2 c All purpose flour 1 ts Vanilla 1/2 c Granulated sugar 2 tb Melted butter 1/2 c Unsweetened cocoa, divided 1/2 c Semi-sweet chocolate chips 2 ts Baking powder 1/2 c Firmly packed brown sugar 1/4 ts Salt 1 3/4 c Boiling water 1/2 c Milk
Instructions:Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine
flour, granulated sugar, 1/4 c cocoa, baking powder and salt in a bowl. Stir in milk, butter and vanilla until smooth. Stir in chocolate chips. Spread in ungreased shallow 1 1/2 quart casserole. Sprinkle brown sugar and 1/4 c cocoa on top. Place in oven, pour boiling water over top. Bake 35 minutes, cool 10 minutes before serving. Serve with ice cream if desired.
